Chapter 150: The Midnight Sun

As soon as Raiden killed the person, all hell broke loose.

The already small crowd got divided even further, with even more people running away while a third of them just stood there as if they were watching a good show. They all pulled out their Terra Beasts, surrounding him from all sides.

"I know who he is!! Raiden Ashford. He has a bounty of 75 million if we capture him alive!!" One of the voices in the crowd rang out, capturing the attention of everyone who was standing there to watch a show. They similarly released their Terra Beasts, joining the blockade and surrounding Raiden from all sides.

Raiden looked at the crowds, who had surrounded him, none of them daring to take action, as if they were waiting for someone else to take a lead first.

"Since you guys don’t dare to take action first, I’ll do it for you, Go Woolie!!"

"Woolie!!" Leave it to me, human!!

Boom!!

Woolie directly flew into a crowd as he let out an indiscriminate sweeping bolt of thunder, attacking everyone.

"Everyone attack together!! Stop that little sheep!!" Countless people who had been thrown back due to the attack advance together against him once again, unleashing a variety of attacks using Terra Beasts.

Looking at the ring of attacks raining down on him, Woolie didn’t panic as he let out an electrical discharge, directly colliding with all the attacks together.

"Roar!!!" A Black Gorilla came charging through the dense electrical field, directly appearing in front of Woolie, cocking his giant fist back.

"Take it head-on, Woolie! Quick Attack!!"

"Woolie!!" Looking at the fist enlarging before his very eyes, Woolie instantly burst into action, colliding directly against it.

Bang!!!

Their attack instantly blew everything within a few meters away, leaving cracks on the ground.

"His main Terran is here. He is open right now. Everyone attack!!" Tens of Terrans started advancing towards Raiden together, all of them ready to take him down, while others kept Woolie busy.

"Neva, it’s your turn. Spears of light!!"

"Sha Sha!!"

Tens of spears, completely made up of light, instantly materialised in the air as they fell into the crowd, directly attacking or impaling a few Terra Beasts who dared to come close, while others simply attacked from afar.

Woolie, on the other hand, was having fun colliding with the black gorilla again and again.

It’s been a long time since he finally met a match.

"Woolie, we have a lot of people to take care of. Don’t waste time playing with him." Raiden ran towards the side, dodging the numerous attacks that were flying at him while he instructed Neva to counterattack.

He looked at the sheep only to find him having fun and couldn’t help but remind him from afar.

"Woolie!!" Sorry, big guy, I wanted to fight you for a little bit longer, but maybe next time!!

Maybe due to hearing the disdain in Woolie’s voice, the giant black gorilla grew enraged.

"Damn it, don’t underestimate my Blackie!! Go, use Adamantium Fist!!"

"Roar!!!"

The gorilla’s fist started shining with golden light as he grew even bigger in size, quickly becoming over ten meters tall, before bringing his fist down on top of Woolie’s head.

Woolie didn’t change his size from just over one meter as he stared directly at the fist coming towards him next.

Then, with a shout, crackling thunderbolts burst from his body, but this time there was a difference.

Along with the purple lightning, there were also some streaks of devilish red fire surrounding his body, giving him a more menacing look.

"Woolie!!" This is the first time I am using that big kitty’s power. Be careful, big guy!!

"Awoo!!"

A gigantic wolf head appeared on top of Woolie, his golden eyes shimmering with violence.

The giant wolf head quickly grew to over 20 meters tall before howling as it unleashed a shockwave that blew everything away.

As if it possessed a sentience of its own, its golden eyes directly locked at the opponent as it advanced towards the giant gorilla before opening its jaw and taking a bite out of his body.

CRUNCH!!

"Blackie, no!!" Amidst a wail of despair, the gorilla disappeared inside the jaws of the giant wolf’s head as it exploded into bursts of sulfuric red flames and thunder.

Bang!!

A second later, the scene cleared, showing the giant gorilla on the ground, his body completely charred, as he lost consciousness, his life and death unknown.

Seeing this, a lot of attackers who were going against Raiden silently backed away. That Blackie was one of the strongest Gold Terra Beasts among them, and he went down so easily while the opponent barely looked scratched.

"Woolie, finish them all. Use Thunder Overdrive. Neva, aim the spears of light to block and intercept any incoming attacks!!" Raiden charged directly into the crowd that was attacking him, getting up close and personal with the Battle Masters, using his claws to tear them asunder, while Neva used gigantic spears of light to impale any Terra Beast who got close.

The two of them wreaked havoc loudly as Woolie prepared his attack on the other side.

"Woolie!!!"

CRACK-BANG!!!

With a crackle, Woolie burst into the action as his body let out a violet pillar of thunder into the air, directly attacking the ceiling on top of their heads, causing it to collapse. But he didn’t care about any of that as he excitedly prepared for his new attack.

Very quickly, a gigantic ball of Violet-coloured thunder appeared in the air, on top of Woolie’s head, as it quickly grew in size, becoming like a midday sun in the night. This attack, which was inspired by his little sister Cinder, was something Woolie had come up with himself recently. It was just much more destructive.

As if he wasn’t enough with the size, the little purple sun in the air, crackling with energy, became even bigger, over 30 m in diameter, as it directly touched the ceiling of the underground place.

Just by looking at the gigantic ball of thunder, a little bit of despair started to set into the hearts of his opponents. One of their strongest just went down, and they had no idea how they could stop this one.

They weren’t the elite crowd. Most of them were just riff-raff, silver-tier battle masters, and a few weaker gold ones hoping to claim the bounty or to get into the good books of the Ingram family.

"Sha Sha!!" ( ˶°ㅁ°) .ᐟ.ᐟ

Neva, on the other hand, was very impressed with her big brother’s attack. It looked so cool!!

By now, Raiden had quickly used his Seven Star Steps to appear behind Woolie. He had doubts that he could survive the aftermath if he stayed between the enemies.

"Go, buddy!!! Show them how it’s done!! Violet Thunder Overdrive!!!"

"WOOLIE WOO!!!"

The mini sun, created by Woolie, flew very fast, quickly appearing on top of the enemy’s head.

"We-we can’t win against something like this!! Run!!!"

The enemies came back to their senses as they broke into a run. But the speeds weren’t fast enough to evade what was coming as the Purple Sun fell down amidst them.

BOOM!!!!

A mushroom cloud appeared in the air due to the explosion, as everything in the air was dyed purple!!

Raiden struggled to maintain his foothold as the shockwave from the attacks blew everything within a hundred-meter diameter away.

This attack even hit the ceiling as the whole underground place started crumbling and crashing down.

A few seconds later, Raiden was finally able to open his eyes to see the aftermath.

The ground was gone, replaced by a gigantic crater on the ground.

The hole was over 20 meters deep, its charred surfaces flashing with random bolts of thunder.

Most of the enemies that were standing there had vaporised. A few lucky ones were fast enough to get out of the epicentre, but they didn’t emerge unscathed either, as all the humans and their beasts had various degrees of burns spread across their bodies, their fates unknown.

The ceiling of the night market had half collapsed, and one could see the moonlight from within the hole.

"Whoa. That was just too much, buddy. If you keep this up, you are going to bury us alive. Don’t do it next time, okay? Tch, tch, such inconsideration." Raiden commented offhandedly, causing Woolie to turn and look at him in shock.

Woolie: ???

’What do you even mean?? You were the one who told me to use this attack!!’

Raiden ignored the looks of grievance by the sheep. They had taken care of most of the enemies near them, but, conversely, they also attracted all the attention from every single person in the night market.

It was a good thing he called Isadora beforehand, who could handle all the aftermath from here.

He didn’t waste any more time as he once again started moving towards his destination, the base of the Ingram family.

He was going to have his revenge today, no matter what.
